  • Metadata acquired by GA for the purposes of the National DEM Project from WA Landgate. DEMs are a mass of ground heights representing a terrain surface. In this instance they are spaced at a regular grid interval. This dataset has been developed from aerial photography to assist in the digital imagery Orthorectification program. The status of coverage or other information relative to specific DEM data may be obtained directly through the DOLA contact.

  • As a consequence of the Greater Hobart Quickbird Imagery Trial project I&LS has produced a 12.5m interval DEM based on LIST 5m and 10m contours. The extent of the 12.5m DEM data over Greater Hobart Quickbird Trial area is delineated by the green box in the map image. The areas where 5m contour were used as the source data for the DEM creation (depicted by pink shaded tiles in map image) have the greater height accuracy warranting the 12.5m grid interval. The remaining area uses the same LIST 10m contour data as used for creation of the Tas 25m DEM. Extent MGA coordinates are 439987mE to 590012mE and 5169983mN to 5295008mN.

  • These datasets cover approximately 1100 sq km in the central sector of the Hinchinbrook Shire Council and over all of Orpheus Island and are part of the 2009 Tropical Coast LiDAR capture project. This project, undertaken by Fugro Spatial Solutions Pty Ltd on behalf of the Queensland Government captured highly accurate elevation data using LiDAR technology. Available dataset formats (in 2 kilometre tiles) are: - Classified las (LiDAR Data Exchange Format where strikes are classified as ground, non-ground or building) - 1 metre Digital Elevation Model (DEM) in ASCII xyz - 1 metre Digital Elevation Model (DEM) in ESRI ASCII grid - 0.25 metre contours in ESRI Shape

  • AAMHatch acquired Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) data for the Sydney Metropolitan area between 11 June 2007 & 7 July 2007 and again in February to June 2008. The source data are available as mass points (ASCII XYZ, LAS) and Gridded 2m and 10m DEM tiles or 2m Mosaic. The vertical accuracy is 0.15m at 1 sigma in open clear ground as specified in the project scope. All data are referenced to GDA94/MGA Zone 56 and AHD using independent survey control which means the project area is not seamless and height difference between the 2007 and 2008 data will exist. A hydrologically enforced elevation model is available for this product, which should be used for any water modelling.

  • The Macquarie Barwon LiDAR survey provides elevation and photographic data over approximately 17,326 km² along the Macquarie and Barwon Rivers, north-west of Dubbo NSW. The LiDAR was captured between November 2013 and May 2014, at a nominal density of two outgoing laser pulses per square metre. Photography was captured simultaneously and provided as an ortho-rectified mosaic with a resolution of 20cm. The LiDAR was delivered in a full waveform format that retains a higher level of precision and significantly more above ground information than traditional LiDAR. A set of seamless products, including hydro-flattened bare earth terrain surfaces (DEMs), were produced to the ICSM specification. Other derived surfaces include a Digital Surface Model (DSM), Canopy Height Model (CHM) and Foliage Canopy Model (FCM). The outputs of the project are compliant with National ICSM LiDAR Product Specifications and the NEDF.

  • This suite of products relates to LiDAR data for the NSW Central and Hunter Coasts. The data was collected by Fugro Spatial Solutions Pty. Ltd. Under contract to the NSW State Government in January 2007. The survey was funded by the NSW Greenhouse Office (The Cabinet Office) with contributions from the Hunter Water Corporation and Lake Macquarie Council. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an airborne remote sensing technique for rapid collection of terrain data. The sensor used for this LiDAR project collected XYZ and intensity data for two returns, first and last (ground) return by bouncing a pulse from the aircraft to the surface that enables the height and intensity values to be calculated. Survey report contains detailed information on capture and processing of LiDAR data Contract deliverable showing classified non-ground LiDAR strike returns recorded along survey flight lines. Point data records the surface elevation in metres AHD and intensity value of return. Data delivered as 1 square kilometre tiles for the entire survey area, a total of 1429 tiles covers the survey area. Survey report contains detailed information on capture and processing of LiDAR data. All data geo-referenced to GDA94/MGA56 and AHD. • These are high resolution 5 metre Digital Terrain Model spatial partitions generated from the Land Information Centres Large Scale Contour Archive. The partitions are 9 kilometers by 7.5 kilometres and align to the ISG 1:10000 zone coverage of New South Wales. This theme contains DTM`s created from existing 2 metre contours sourced from the 1:4000 Orthophoto Map Series of the NSW topographic map archive . Beginning date: 01 February 1998 (1998-02-01) Ending date: 01 August 1999 (1999-08-01)

  • There are 495 Digital Topographic Database Landform DTM spatial partitions covering New South Wales. The partitions are 50 kilometers square and align to the AMG zone coverage of NSW. This theme contains Digital Terrain Models created from existing 10 metre and 20 metre contours sourced from the NSW Topographic Map Archive. The Data Base contains raster height data in 25 metre pixels for the Eastern and Central Divisions of the State. The Sydney Basin is supplemented by the integration of 2 metre contour data.

  • Abstract: DEMs are a mass of ground heights representing a terrain surface. In this instance they are spaced at a regular grid interval. This dataset has been developed from aerial photography . The status of coverage is available either directly or via remote access to Land Monitors website http://www.landmonitor.wa.gov.au/ Information relative to specific DEM data may be obtained directly through the Landgate contact. This DEM data has been generated from a wide range of aerial photography) by Landgate WA (formerly WA Dept. of Land Information). As a result, there are various associated photoscales and acquisition dates. The DEM has been supplied to the ATWS for the purpose of modelling and have been mosaiced into pre-determined areas by Landgate based on the ATWS research. DEM's and contours are available in a number of formats. Metadata and Licence conditions supplied. Internal requests for the data should be addressed to the ATWS. Other requests should be addressed to DLI Western Australia.
