The RadWaste Reporting Tool allows Dept of Industry and GHD staff to analyse and compare Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA) ratings of a site within a nominated location and ascertain the reason for the ranking and score. This tool also outputs a snapshot of the nominated site, giving a context map and scores against requirement criteria.

This software package is used to produce Bushfire Attack Level (BAL), a measure of the severity of a building's potential exposure to bushfire, based on Method 1 in Australian Standard AS 3959 (2009)--Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas.

This database allows users to search for - naturally-occurring landslides - landslides with a significant human contribution or directly triggered by humans,- flood events causing significant erosion, and - flash flood events involving mud or debris - which have been recorded by Geoscience Australia and contributing scientific organisations and returns these landslide and flood events along with their associated data. - Human-triggered landslides include events such as sand collapses caused by children digging holes or tunnels, boulders displaced by climbers, rock ledges breaking off when a person stands or sits on them, and collapses caused by excavation. The Gippsland Basin is a premier hydrocarbon producing province, however exploration efforts in recent years were only met with limited success. New discoveries and extensions to existing ones were recorded along the northern basin flank, while the entire eastern, deeper water part of the basin remains underexplored to the present day. In order to address these questions Geoscience Australia has embarked on a petroleum systems modelling study to better understand the burial history of key horizons in the Gippsland Basin and its influence on changes in temperature, porosity, permeability and fluid migration. International Quiet Days (IQD's) are the days where the geomagnetic variations are a minimum in each month. International Disturbed Days (IDD's) are 5 days in each month where the geomagnetic variations are maximum. The classification of days is relative only to the month of calculation. The average disturbance level in one month may differ from another.
