This preliminary report will provide a geochemical and ionic characterisation of groundwater, to determine baseline conditions and, if possible, to distinguish between different aquifers in the Laura basin. The groundwater quality data will be compared against the water quality guidelines for aquatic ecosystem protection, drinking water use, primary industries, use by industry, recreation and aesthetics, and cultural and spiritual values to assess the environmental values of groundwater and the treatment that may be required prior to reuse or discharge.

This is the interpretation of the Vulcan Tertiary Tie Project (VTT). This study carried out high resolution seismic acquisition programs, surveys 163VTT and 165VTT. These surveys where carried out over a 5000km grid. This seismic data was interpretated and sequence stratigraphic framework for this highly prospective, but geologically complex region. More information can be found in the final report: AGSO Record 1996/91. This metadata will only be focusing on the seismic (structure) grids and the intrepretated faults from the report. There is both raster and vector data. The vector (polygons) data (faults) are located in: "/timor_gis/geological/agso_vtt_flts". The raster images (seismic structures BIL images) are located in: "/timor_gis/grids/geological/agso_vtt".

An application dated 30 July 2013 for verification of a reference standard of measurement under Regulation 12 of the National Measurement Regulations 1999 was received from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines in Queensland, for verification of GDA94 position on their owned or managed station monument. This report documents the processing and analysis of GPS data observed by the Department of Natural Resources and Mines in Queensland during a 7-day period from 23 June 2013 to 29 June 2013 (day of year 174 to 180) for twenty-five CORS stations to satisfy the position verification requirements.

This dataset is stored nationally. The National Native Title Register (s192, Native Title Act, Commonwealth), is a register containing information about each determination of native title by the Federal or High Court or by a recognized State or Territory body. Determinations are categorized by both process and outcome. Process will be by consent, litigation or unopposed. Outcome will be that native title will have been found to exist in full or part, or been extinguished. Those determinations subject to appeal are also noted.

Applications stored for each jurisdiction dataset include applications which overlap into adjoining jurisdictions as well as applications which overlap with these for completeness. This dataset depicts the spatial definition of active Claimant and Non-claimant native title determination applications and compensation applications. Where possible these may include internal boundaries or areas excluded. Aspatial attribution includes National Native Title Tribunal number, Federal Court number, application status and the names of both the NNTT Case Manager and Lead Member where assigned to the application. Applications included on the Schedule of Native Title (Federal Court) include all registered and unregistered applications as well as determined applications that are yet to be finalized.

This dataset attempts to reflect the boundaries of claimant applications for Native Title as per the Register of Native Title Claims (s185, Native Title Act; Commonwealth). This is a national dataset but data is stored by jurisdiction (State), for ease of use. Applications stored for each jurisdiction dataset include applications which overlap into adjoining jurisdictions as well as applications which overlap with these. This dataset depicts the spatial record of registered claimant applications. Aspatial attribution includes National Native Title Tribunal number, Federal Court number, application status and the names of both the NNTT Case Manager and Lead Member assigned to the application. Applicants of registered applications have the Right To Negotiate (RTN) with respect to certain types of Future Acts over the area being claimed. Whilst applications that are determined are recorded on a separate register, all registered applications remain on the Register of Native Title Claims until otherwise finalised.
