***Removed by request Ollie Raymond 6/03/2019***
This dataset spatially represents the OZROX Field Geology Database. The OZROX database contains location and field description information. Field descriptions include, information on lithology, stratigraphic unit, alteration, magnetic susceptibility, hand-held radiometric spectrometer response and structural measurements.OZROX has over 100 000 field sites derived mainly from AGSO - Geoscience Australia's mapping, with additional contributions from Universities and State Surveys. Many of Geoscience Australia's laboratory databases link to OZROX in the corporate Oracle relational database system.

These pages comprise the National Geoscience Datasets Internet Facility which delivers AGSO clients online access to AGSO's National scale spatial geoscience information. AGSO has responsibility for the production and online access to primary geoscience information of relevance to resource issues for industry, government and the general public, provided in the form of digital datasets that cover the Australian continent and/or Australian marine jurisdictional areas. This facility will provide efficient, modern digital-era access to all the geoscience information available in current maps and associated digital databases at the best possible resolution. To add to this as new geoscience datasets are released they will become available on the National Geoscience Datasets download page and be viewable within the National datasets online GIS web mapping tool.

This dataset is part of a digital geological map of the Granites-Tanami Block which Australian Geological Survey Organisation has prepared by joining together as a seamless coverage 15 of the 1:250 000 geological maps which cover the province. The data layers in the digital map include geology, faults, lineaments structural data, mineral deposits and Australian Geological Survey Organisation drill hole locations. The digital data is available in Arcinfo/ Arcview or Mapinfo format. Topographic and cultural layers are not included: these can be purchased separately from AUSLIG.

These images are derived from the "Gravity Anomaly Grid of the Australian Region" (GEOCAT record: 38953). That grid combines accurate onshore gravity measurements, a sub-sample of the levelled offshore marine gravity traverses with satellite data used in areas where there is no marine data. The cell values represent simple Bouguer anomalies at a density of 2.67 tm−³ onshore and free-air anomalies offshore. The grid cell size is 0.5 minutes of arc, which is equivalent to about 800 metres. The smallest wavelength contained in the grid is 1600 m.
