Abstract
The gnssanalysis Python package is designed to provide the public with a source of useful python functions and classes that help with processing of GNSS observations. The functionality found within the package includes: - reading of many standard file formats commonly used in the geodetic community including SP3, SNX, RNX, CLK, PSD, etc. into pandas dataframes (Also writing certain file formats) - transformation of data, for example datetime conversions, helmert inversions, rotations, transforming geodata from XYZ to longitude-latitude-altitude, etc. - functions for the download of standard files and upload to other sources (e.g. s3)

Purpose
The purpose of the resource is to allow members of the geodetic / geospatial community, and the Australia public more broadly, to use and contribute to all the useful Python functionality that we on the Ginan Team in the GNSS Analysis section have built to process GNSS observation data. This includes various geospatial transformations, the reading / writing of common file formats and download functions to gather reference data files.

Lineage
The gnssanalysis python package was first released on 2022-09-12 on the PyPI package repository as version 0.0.1. This was generated from the code repository of the same name on BitBucket. Up to the release of version 0.0.47 on 2023-11-15 the code used to built the package was sourced from BitBucket. On 2023-12-14, a new GitHub repository was created to share the code repository publicly. The new code repository was also named gnssanalysis and will be the source code for all future releases on the PyPI package repository.
