Abstract

Processed seismic data (SEG-Y format) and TIFF images for the 2008 Rankins Springs Seismic Survey (L188), acquired by Geoscience Australia (GA) under the Onshore Energy Security Program (OESP), in conjunction with the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries (NSWDPI). Stack and migrated data are included for lines 08GA-RS1 and 08GA-RS2, as well as CDP coordinates. Raw data for this survey are available on request from clientservices@ga.gov.au

Survey Parameters: Seismic Reflection data acquired using 3 x Hemi 60 Vibroseis trucks and a SERCEL SN428 acquisition equipment. 3 x 50,000 lb source, vibe interval 80m, 3 x 12 second sweeps (6-64Hz, 10-96 Hz & 8-80Hz). 40m geophone group interval, split spread 6000m-0-6000m (300 channel). Correlated record length 20 -22 sec The image is a visual depiction of the processed SEG Y data of the 08GA-RS1 and 08GA-RS2 seismic reflection lines acquired in the L188 Rankins Springs Seismic Survey In 2021 all data in the survey were shifted to a common final datum, 600 m AHD to make near surface data are visible. The data shift is required as static corrections with a slow velocity weathering layer pushed some near surface data above the original datum. All information regarding processing datum and replacement velocity provided in SEGY headers and images side labels.
