Abstract

This dataset spatially represents the OZCHRON database of physical age determinations of Australian rocks, and the radiogenic isotope ratios used in determining the ages. Rocks dated are mainly from Australia, but the database does include some ages from rocks in Antarctica and Papua New Guinea. This OZCHRON dataset comprises period ages of samples derived using theRb-Sr, SHRIMP, U-Pb, and Sm-Nd age determination methods.
