Statement

The foreign embassies and consulates datasets were originally digitized between August and November 2012 from aerial photography, orthophotos and satellite imagery held within Geoscience Australia. The dataset was reviewed and revised May 2015.

Source Information:

The primary information source used to locate the embassy and consulate facilities was the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) website.

When required, individual embassy and consulate websites were referred to.

Harder to locate facilities were identified and placed through collaboration with the Australian Federal Police (AFP).
