Abstract
<div>The Zeehan and Franklin Marine Parks, West Coast Tasmania Bathymetry Acquisition was acquired by CSIRO onboard the TV Bluefin between 22 Feb 2022 and 21 Mar 2022, using a Kongsberg EM2040C. This was a contracted survey conducted for the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania, to conduct a multibeam survey encompasing the Zeehan and Franklin Marine Parks for Parks Australia. Bathymetry data was processed using QPS Qimera and Caris Hips & Sips processing software. The dataset was then exported as a 2m resolution, 32 bit floating point GeoTIFF grid of the survey area. A detailed report on the survey is provided in: Hydrographic Survey of Zeehan and Franklin Marine Parks, West Coast Tasmania (https://figshare.utas.edu.au/articles/report/Hydrographic_Survey_of_Zeehan_and_Franklin_Marine_Parks_West_Coast_Tasmania/23171318).</div><div>This dataset is not to be used for navigational purposes.</div>

<div>AusSeabed follows the recommended processing methodology as prescribed by the AusSeabed Multibeam Guidelines. Please note that certain products are subject to routine update (e.g. resolution, coverage, temporal variation, guidelines/best practice). The client is advised to refer to the latest version of all documents and products for the mostup-to-date material. For eCat records the version is expressed in the record title whilst products incorporate date of production as per AusSeabed’s file naming convention.</div><div><br></div><div>Survey metadata:</div><div>The multibeam bathymetry was acquired by the following survey:</div><div>- Survey Name: Hydrographic Survey of Zeehan and Franklin Marine Parks, West Coast Tasmania</div><div>- Vessel Name: TV Bluefin</div><div>- Institution: AMC UTAS</div><div>- Country: Australia</div><div>- Operator: CSIRO</div><div>- Multibeam system: EM2040C</div><div>- Year of installation: 2022</div><div>- Nominal sonar frequency: 300 kHz</div><div>- Number of heads: 1</div><div>- Number of beams: 400</div><div>- Beamwidth along track: 1 degree</div><div>- Beamwidth across track: 1 degree</div><div>- Pulse length: variable</div><div>- Selectable depth range: variable</div><div>- Vessel speed: Unknown</div><div>- Start Date: 28/02/2022</div><div>- End Date: 21/03/2022</div><div>- Start Port: Beauty Point</div><div>- End Port: Beauty Point</div><div>- Grid resolution: 2 m</div><div>- Number of grids: 3</div><div>- Use Limitation: This dataset is not to be used for navigational purposes.</div><div>- This dataset is published with the permission of the CEO, Geoscience Australia</div><div>- Vertical Datum: EGM2008</div><div>- Horizontal Datum: WGS84 (EPSG:4326)</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Processing methodology:</div><div>1.
