Purpose
As part of the Exploring for the Future (EFTF) Program, Geosicence Australia acquired ~57,000 line-km's of magnetic and radiometric data for the Eastern Tasmanian project . The data were acquired in collaboration with the Mineral Resources of Tasmania and provide high-resolution structural and geological detail across 11,600 km2 of eastern Tasmania, from Hobart and surrounds in the south, to Coles Bay on the east coast. The data will have potential applications in mineral exploration (including critical minerals), groundwater and hydrogen investigations, and soil mapping for agricultural studies.
