The DEM has had a shiny colour drape algorithm applied in ERMapper® to produce a TIFF image of South Point that has then been reduced to 256 colours, while the ECW image of the West was left at 16 million colour to minimise storage on the CDs. Both images were originally created with a 1m cell size in areas of interest and 5m cell size elsewhere (the South Point image is represented by 1m cell sizes while the West image is a combination of both 1 and 5 metre cell sizes). The final images have been produced at 1m cell sizes. In September 2003 this dataset was then converted to the MGA(GDA94) projection using an x y shift (550015 = x, 8780001 = y) on the CIG85 projection.
